A lot of people like to call hemp extract, “CBD Oil” or otherwise term it “hemp oil”. However, these are incorrect terms for the product. This is because hemp oil is derived from hemp seeds and as a result doesn’t have the broad spectrum of cannabinoids that hemp extract has. Hemp extract is derived from hemp buds or hemp flowers, which are the same thing: the buds. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the
113 cannabinoids found in hemp extract distillate. We therefore find it inappropriate to describe something as CBD Oil when there are 112 other cannabinoids in that oil solution.
