While these chocolate chip cookies might not be exactly like Mom used to make, the extra goodness from CBD or Delta-8 make these a perfect grown-up treat. Instead of using raw hemp flower, our recipe uses convenient tinctures that don’t change the overall taste of these tasty cookies. As always, make sure to enjoy your edibles slowly until you know how your body reacts to different dosages and serving sizes.

Silver Lake Chocolate Chip Cookie Edibles

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup softened unsalted butter
  • Silver Lake 2000mg CBD or 500mg Delta-8 tincture
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons hot water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, optional

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix softened butter, tincture, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth
  3. Add and mix in eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract
  4. Dissolve baking soda into hot water and add the mixture to the batter followed by the salt
  5. Slowly mix in chocolate chips, nuts (optional), and flour until no dry clumps remain
  6. Drop large spoonful of batter onto ungreased pans
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes or until cookie edges start to turn golden brown
  8. Once removed from oven to cool, sprinkle remaining tincture (1-2 small drops each) over warm cookies and let soak in

  • For a cool treat, spread softened vanilla ice cream on one cookie and place another cookie on top of it to make an ice cream cookie sandwich
  • Instead of chocolate chips, substitute with butterscotch chips

Because of how thin cookies can be compared to other kinds of edibles (like brownies), a lot of the tincture might burn off while baking. By sprinkling an extra drop or two of tincture on a warm cookie, consumers can better measure their dose of CBD or Delta-8. Try one cookie on its own first and see if it provides the effects you’re looking for before adding the extra drops.
